Arrived in Lafayette on the afternoon of July 1st, 2016 to help 2nd shoot my good friend Dave Wegiel (@PinolaPhoto) at a wedding tomorrow (which is in this absolutely gorgeous church, I might add) and had nothing to to after dinner, so we headed over to campus and spent the evening shooting.

First, I picked my spot. After trying several locations, I picked this one due to how the trees were filling in the empty spaces around the fountain.

As the various colors of the fountain were rotating through, (red, green, blue, violet, etc) I ended up picking yellow as my target since it blended so nicely with the lights surrounding it.

I am really happy with the result and glad I spent the evening on campus. It won’t be too long before I get to be back here every day.
