PROGRESS UPDATE:

100% complete! I’ve raised $5,500 and will be traveling to Russia this December to watch Scott Tingle (Purdue ME ’88) launch to the International Space Station!

What an incredible opportunity. Thank you to all who donated, I’ve got over 80 thank you letters to write!

OK – probably the most exciting news I’ve published here on my website, to date.

I’ve been invited to attend Scott Tingle’s (Purdue ME ’88) launch to the International Space Station from the Baikonur Cosmodrome with his family and friends, the opportunity of a lifetime!!

The best part: I will be able to bring a camera and share some pictures.

The cost of the trip is expensive. $5,500 expensive, and

I need your help to make it happen!

I will need to raise that $5,500 by midnight on Friday, November 3rd, 2017.

The funds will be used to pay for:
– $1,000 flight to/from Moscow
– $4,000 from Moscow to the Baikonur Cosmodrome (launch site), all accommodations near the launch site, and back.
– $500 for food and other miscellaneous trip expenses.
