200 looks good on you, Indiana🎂

President James Madison approved Indiana’s admission into the Union as the 19th state on this day in 1816.
A few fun facts about Indiana:
-Santa Claus, Indiana gets more than 500,000 letters annually addressed to the man himself.
-Nearly half of all cropland in Indiana is planted in corn, producing more than 20% of the US’ popcorn supply.
-Indiana has over 4,500 miles of railroad/ 12,000 miles of road maintained by the IN Department of Transportation along with 66,000 miles of county roads.
-INDOT prints half a million state highway maps each year.
